In 2014, Hogle Zoo opened the largest new animal exhibit in its history called African Savanna – a 4½ acre site that has transformed the guest experience at entry. African Savanna features the grasslands, with habitats for zebra, giraffes, ostriches, and more. Additionally, we welcome the return of lions featuring floor-to-ceiling viewing allowing guests to get nose-to-nose with the King of Beasts. See all that the African Savanna has in store for you and your family, as well as a host of other popular attractions such as Rocky Shores, Elephant Encounter, Asian Highlands and the kid-friendly Tidewater Cove splash area.
